It is best for this route to take place on a sunny day in order the visitor to marvel at the entirety of the mountain scenery in all it's majesty. All the route is through asphalt streets.

The most interesting points in this route are, besides the cities and villages, the monastery of St. David and the falls area that is between Drymonas and the crossing with the road that connects Kerasia and Kokinomilia. It's a magical area, that in recent years has been upgraded significantly. The cars stop by the side of the road where the appropriate signs exist.
